How We Are Protecting You From COVID-19
The pandemic which we are all experiencing has changed the way we work as dentists. Based upon guidelines set by the Center for Disease Control and the American Dental Association, we have instituted policies, procedures and placed equipment to maximize protection for patients and staff.
- No one is permitted inside our office without initial screening and appropriate face covering.
- We require that patients to wear face covering and also observe social distancing in the business area.
- We are minimizing the number of people allowed to sit in our waiting area and asking people to wait in their cars.
- We can no longer provide reading material, stickers and toys for children and have cleared our walls.
- No one is permitted in our office if they are or have been recently sick, or have recently visited areas designated by our Governor, as disease centers.
- All staff wear personal protective equipment, including face shields, hair covering and level three or above face masks.
- Surfaces are disinfected or plastic covers replaced between patients.
- Sixteen HEPA filters are in constant use at various locations in the office, with double filtrations in areas where patients receive care.
- We have special high velocity suction systems to catch micro droplets as they leave a patient’s body and thereby not contaminating air.
- If you have an appointment, please arrive early to our parking lot, and notify us by telephone, so that we can invite you into the office for initial screening. If you can not keep your appointment, are sick, or THINK you might have been exposed to someone with COVID, please give us as much time as possible to cancel your appointment so that we can offer that time to someone else.
We will continue to upgrade our office safety as new protocols and equipment becomes available.
